Gas main repair
North Fifth Street is closed between Craig and Lone Mountain roads in North Las Vegas while Southwest Gas Company repairs a gas main pipe.
Southwest Gas Company spokeswoman Cynthia Messina said the repairs are part of a routine pipeline replacement project to ensure the pipes work properly.
North Las Vegas spokeswoman Juliet Casey said the road could be closed for several days. Drivers are advised to take Commerce, Donna or Bruce streets as alternate routes during repairs.
