A body was found on the sidewalk outside University Medical Center around 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
UMC spokeswoman Danita Cohen said a passer-by discovered the man's body and reported it to Metro Police. Police said medical personnel pronounced the man dead, and the Clark County Coroner’s Office is determining the cause of death.
Cohen said UMC is conducting an investigation into the incident.
