The Las Vegas High football team had 520 yards of offense Friday in a 55-40 victory against visiting Foothill.

Andrew Moreland led the way with 220 rushing yards and five touchdowns for the Wildcats (3-1), which open Northeast League play next week by hosting Rancho in the Bone Game.

Elias Miller added 92 rushing yards and a touchdown, Vince Castro gained 54 yards and had a rushing touchdown, and Josh Mayfield had 90 receiving yards and a score.

“We played alright on offense, but defensively, we still have a few holes,” Las Vegas coach James Thurman said. “It’s just fundamentals. We need to block and tackle better.”
