Fri, Apr 26, 2013 (10 p.m.)

The Las Vegas 51s managed just four hits Friday against visiting Tacoma in a 10-1 loss at Cashman Field.

Josh Satin, Andrew Brown and Kirk Nieuwenhuis had hits for Las Vegas, which surrendered double-digit runs for the second consecutive game in losing its third straight.

Nieuwenhuis, who was recently demoted to Triple-A Las Vegas from the New York Mets, led off the ninth inning with a double. He scored the lone Las Vegas run on a run-scoring single from Satin, which also gave the 51s two hits in their final at-bat to double their hit total for the game.

Thursday, Las Vegas pounded out 13 hits and scored 12 runs, but still was defeated after giving up seven runs in the ninth inning.

Tacoma starter Andrew Carraway struck out five batters Friday in seven innings to earn the win.

The teams play the third game of their four-game series at 7:05 p.m. Saturday.
