The Las Vegas 51s scored five runs in the fourth inning Monday in a 9-5 victory at the Reno Aces in the first game of a four-game Pacific Coast League series.
Andrew Brown, Wilmer Flores and Brian Bixler each had two RBIs for the 51s (11-12), which snapped a five-game losing streak.
Zach Lutz and Brown each scored two runs for Las Vegas, and Brown had a two-run double to highlight the fourth-inning scoring outburst.
D.J. Mitchell surrendered one run in 5 1/3 innings to earn the win. Reno fell to 8-17 with the loss.
The second game of the series is Tuesday. The 51s are on an eight-game road trip, returning home to Cashman Field May 7 to face Round Rock.
