Obama’s promises too little, too late

I read the July 28 column, “Obama comes out strong for the middle class.”

Really? I guess next week he may even come out for motherhood and apple pie.

So how would he create more secure jobs? He doesn’t say. He could create over 13,000 jobs with the Keystone XL Pipeline but I wouldn’t hold my breath on that. He says he’ll spend the rest of his time fighting to improve the middle class. Shouldn’t he have been doing that the past four years?
