Metro releases stunning video in hopes of identifying suspect in June shooting on Fremont Street

Metro Police are asking the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect in a June shooting under the Fremont Street Experience.

A surveillance video posted on Metro’s YouTube channel shows the June 8 shooting, in which two bystanders were hit by gunfire. The event began when a fight broke out and was followed by the suspect pulling a gun from his waistband, aiming and firing at a person involved in the altercation.

The victims were taken to University Medical Center and treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.

The suspect, who remains at large, is described as a black male approximately 17 to 22 years of age, approximately 5-feet-8, medium build and short dark hair.
