A six-vehicle collision closed down the intersection of Desert Inn and Sandhill roads at about 2 p.m. today.
Desert Inn between Boulder Highway and Sandhill was closed to traffic in both directions until about 9 p.m., according to the Regional Transportation Commission.
Metro Police said one individual was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center and was in stable condition.
A preliminary report suggested that a head-on crash between two vehicles led to the pileup, authorities said.
