Ping Pang Pong, a local staple for years, has now received national attention for its Chinese cuisine.
Travel and Leisure has named the off-Strip eatery inside the Gold Coast as one of the best Chinese restaurants in the U.S. It lauded Ping Pang Pong for its regional variety, from Cantonese style dim sum to its Sichuan salt-and-pepper frog legs.
“No matter which region they’re from, Chinese in Vegas can likely find their hometown specialties here,” the magazine writes.
That’s no surprise to Las Vegas residents and visitors who have been lining up at the mid-priced restaurant for years. Ping Pang Pong, opened in 2001 by Karrie and Kevin Wu, has a “provincial favorites” section on its menu, and most dishes run between $8 and $20. Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 a.m. daily.
