An Alaska Airlines plane coming from Seattle was forced to make an emergency landing when its co-pilot suffered an undisclosed “medical emergency.”
About 15 minutes away from McCarran International Airport, the 737 carrying 53 passengers called for an emergency landing, saying the co-pilot had been incapacitated, airport spokeswoman Christine Crews said.
The plane landed at 5:22 p.m. — about 10 minutes ahead of schedule — without incident, Crews said.
There was no more information regarding the nature of the co-pilot’s medical status.
