NV Energy customers in Summerlin suffer outage

A stray Mylar balloon caused a power outage Thursday night for more than 10,000 NV Energy customers in Summerlin.

NV Energy received reports of the outage about 10:30 p.m. near Lake Mead and Buffalo. The power was restored for customers about an hour later, officials said.
