The Las Vegas 51s were defeated 5-2 Tuesday at the Tucson Padres in the first game of a four-game road series.
Tucson scored three runs in the seventh inning to break a 2-all tie and take the lead for good.
Zach Lutz doubled and scored on an RBI single from Juan Centeno in the second inning for the first Las Vegas run. In the sixth, Ike Davis singled home Brian Bixler for the other 51s’ run.
The series continues at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
