The calendar may say spring is still a week away, but the season is in full bloom already at the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens.
Some of the flowers may have had a little too much fertilizer. A few of the tulips are 17 feet tall, and some daffodils reach 22 feet high. Another 8,203 regular-size (and real) flowers are also on display each week.
The exhibit also includes a 26-foot-tall windmill, complete with blades that reach another 10 feet into the air.
And spring doesn’t just mean flowers. There are also more than 800 live butterflies — some from faraway places such as Costa Rica, the Philippines and Kenya — inside a 36-foot-long greenhouse.
The display is open 24 hours per day through May 11, with live music performed from 5 to 6 p.m. daily.
