An NV Energy equipment failure caused a power outage today that left 3,400 customers in Henderson without electricity for more than an hour.
The outage was reported at 1:45 p.m. in the area of Valle Verde Drive and Windmill Parkway, NV Energy officials said. Power was restored to all but 200 customers as of 3 p.m.
Crews were working to restore power to the rest of its customers.
