Sun, Apr 27, 2014 (4:54 p.m.)

The Las Vegas 51s’ winning streak ended today at six games.

Despite scoring three runs in the first inning against visiting Tacoma, Las Vegas came up short, 5-4, in the final game of a four-game series.

Infielder Daniel Muno had a three-hit day to lead the 51s, leadoff hitter Juan Puello went 2 for 5 with a run scored, and slugger Allan Dystrka recorded his 22nd RBI of the season.

Tacoma’s Jesus Montero had a three-run home run in the fifth inning to give the Rainiers the lead for good. It was the second six-game winning streak of the young season for Las Vegas (18-6).

On Little League Day, the announced attendance at Cashman Field was 6,003. Las Vegas returns to action at 7:05 p.m. Monday against the Reno Aces, the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
