Injury
An 8-year-old girl was shot in the hand this evening in North Las Vegas.
North Las Vegas Police Officer Aaron Patty said the child was shot about 7 p.m. near Centennial Parkway and Losee Road. She was rushed to University Medical Center with injuries not considered life threatening.
No other details about the shooting were available late Thursday.
