Sat, Jan 4, 2014 (10:46 p.m.)

The Las Vegas Wranglers surrendered three goals today in the final 2 minutes, 38 seconds against the visiting Ontario Reign in a 3-1 defeat at the Orleans Arena.

Las Vegas (8-20-3) center Anthony Perdicaro scored late in the first period to give the Wranglers a 1-0 advantage, but they couldn’t make the lead last.

Ontario evened the score at 1-all on Everett Sheen’s goal with 2:38 remaining. Ontario scored the game-winner 68 seconds later on a goal from Mario Lamoureux; it added an empty net goal to close the scoring.

The Wranglers won’t play in Las Vegas until Jan. 31. They play Tuesday and Wednesday at Utah.
