A 17-year-old boy is in critical condition today after being struck by a car while crossing Lamb Boulevard in a marked crosswalk.
Metro Police responded about 6:30 a.m. to the incident. The teen was walking across Lamb Boulevard near Monroe Avenue when a vehicle traveling north failed to stop and hit him, police said.
The boy was transported to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, police said.
Metro is investigating the accident.
