Las Vegas is expanding its social media presence with a live Twitter chat next week in which members of the public will have a chance to ask questions of City Manager Betsy Fretwell.

The catch? Questions can’t be any longer than 140 characters, as required on Twitter.

The chat will be from 2:30 to 3 p.m. Monday. Residents can direct their questions to Fretwell by signing into their Twitter account and tweeting with the #chatwithbetsy hashtag.

Those without a Twitter account still can follow along through a feed on the city’s website.
