The North Las Vegas City Council on Wednesday named interim City Attorney Sandra Douglas Morgan to the permanent role.
Morgan received a one-year contract with an option for renewal and an annual salary of $156,100, according to city documents.
Morgan previously worked as deputy city attorney until August, when former City Attorney Jeff Barr left the position.
She had been serving as interim city attorney since then.
