The North Las Vegas firefighters are battling a blaze at a vacant single-story home on Cole Avenue, near Cheyenne Avenue and Simmons Street, Capt. Cedric Williams said.
Firefighters responded to a call just after 5 p.m. and have successfully contained the fire, Williams said.
An investigation into the cause of the blaze will begin once the fire has been completely extinguished, he said.
