Fatal shooting
A woman is dead after a shooting in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven in the 2600 block of West Sahara Avenue, Metro Police said.
Officers were dispatched to the scene at 5:49 p.m. Thursday and found the woman with a gunshot wound to the chest, Lt. John Liberty said.
She was taken to University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
The shooting is under investigation.
