Sat, Jun 14, 2014 (8:42 p.m.)

Travis d’Arnaud homered again for the Las Vegas 51s, giving the catcher four home runs in six games since being demoted from the New York Mets and helping the 51s today beat host Oklahoma City, 7-1.

He finished 2 for 5 with three RBIs, connecting on a home run for the second straight game.

Las Vegas (40-29) also received two hits from Omar Quintanilla and Kirk Nieuwenhuis, and Allan Dykstra tripled and scored.

Las Vegas starter Rafael Montero left after just five pitches with an apparent injury, being replaced by Darin Gorski. Gorski pitched through the seventh inning, giving up six hits and one run to earn the win.

The series continues at 4:05 p.m. Sunday. Las Vegas returns to Cashman Field Tuesday to face the Nashville Sounds.
