NV Energy restores power to 1,300 customers in Henderson

A power outage left 1,300 NV Energy customers in the dark for up to two hours this morning in Henderson.

The outage was reported about 9:30 a.m. and impacted customers near Stephanie Street and Warm Springs Road, NV Energy spokeswoman Jennifer Schuricht said.

By 11:30 a.m., crews had restored power for about 500 customers. Electricity was restored to the remaining customers before noon, Schuricht said.

The cause of the outage is under investigation.
