Road closure
A portion of Tropicana Avenue will shut down near the Strip on Friday while crews fix a barrier along the busy thoroughfare.
Employees with the Nevada Department of Transportation will close both directions of Tropicana from Las Vegas Boulevard to Koval Lane from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The eastbound left turn lanes into MGM Grand also will be shut down.
Drivers are urged to slow down and watch for the closure.
