Rafael Montero pitched 5 1/3 innings of no-hit baseball today for the Las Vegas 51s and Andrew Brown clubbed his sixth home run of the year, helping Las Vegas beat host Salt Lake 6-3 to complete a four-game sweep.
Daniel Muno also homered for Las Vegas, Zach Lutz had two RBIs and Eric Campbell had a pair of hits.
Las Vegas (25-10) has the best record in all Triple-A baseball and leads its Pacific Coast League division by eight games. The 51s return home to Cashman Field at 7:05 p.m. Saturday to face Tacoma, the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners.
