A California woman was killed Tuesday when the car she was driving crossed the center line of U.S. 95 in Nye County and slammed head-on into a tractor-trailer, the Nevada Highway Patrol said.
The car was headed south about 6 a.m. when it drifted partially into the northbound lane and collided with the truck, officials said.
The 43-year-old woman driving the 1999 Chevrolet Malibu was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
