letter to the editor:

Americans show greed in elections

Sat, Oct 11, 2014 (2:02 a.m.)

A recent Associated Press story cites a recent poll that found 9 in 10 voters think the economy is a major issue in the coming election. That sounds like the polling before our past presidential election.

However, people get to the voting booth and stop being Americans; instead they vote as part of a minority group that reflects their own personal agenda or selfishness.

The public saying one thing in the polls and another thing in elections is unlikely to change. Greed is good? It does dictate who we are.
