A fire did $75,000 damage to a vacant house near the Boulevard Mall early today, Clark County Fire Department officials said.

Firefighters responded about 2:30 a.m. to 1593 Seneca Lane after neighbors reported smoke and flames coming from the roof of the single-story ranch house, officials said.

The fire was primarily in the attic, and firefighters contained it in about 20 minutes, officials said. The damage was mostly limited to the roof and attic, officials said.

Investigators were working to identify the cause of the fire.
