Palo Verde handles Durango, 69-13

Jaren Campbell had three touchdown runs today for the Palo Verde High football team in a 69-13 victory against visiting Durango.

Michael Lasso made the most of his three carries, scoring two touchdowns for the Panthers and helping them lead 50-0 at halftime.

Aaron Chisholm led Palo Verde in rushing, gaining 104 yards and scoring a touchdown on seven carries.

Zach Ortale and Ty Fuller also scored for Palo Verde, which improved to 2-0 in the Southwest League.

Palo Verde plays Legacy next week. The winner receives a home playoff game in the Sunset Regional quarterfinals.
