After raising $1 million between the June primary and early October, Lieutenant Governor candidate Mark Hutchison finished the month strong by bringing in an additional $319,000, according to a campaign finance report released Friday.

The haul over the past three weeks amounts to about $15,000 raised per day for Hutchison, bringing his total campaign fundraising to $2.8 million. Hutchison, a Republican, has spent the money just as fast as it has come in, with his campaign expenditures totaling $580,000 since Oct. 11. He's spent $2.6 million total on his campaign against Democrat Lucy Flores. Updated campaign finance reports for Flores have not been posted to the Secretary of State's website as of 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

She's raised $737,000 through Oct. 10.

The fourth and final pre-election campaign finance reports for all candidates were due by the end of Friday.

Here are highlights from other key races:

Attorney General

The battle for attorney general has heated up in the past month as Republican Adam Laxalt and Democrat Ross Miller traded attack ads in a closer-than-expected race. Laxalt, the putative underdog, has kept up the pressure by spending $496,000 over the past three weeks. He raised $213,000 over that same time span, bringing his total campaign fundraising to $1.5 million. Miller's most recent campaign finance report has not been released yet. He's raised $2.1 million so far.

Secretary of State

Democrat Kate Marshall raised $88,000 since Oct. 11 as she continues her push to become the state's top election officer. Marshall raised $887,000 for her campaign so far.

Her opponent, Republican Barbara Cegavske, raised $83,000 over the past three weeks, bringing her total fundraising to $407,000.

Clark County Sheriff

Assistant Sheriff Joe Lombardo raised $203,000 over the past three weeks, bringing his total campaign haul to $1.9 million. His opponent for the county's top law enforcement job, retired Metro Police Capt. Larry Burns, has raised $94,000 since Oct. 11. That brought his total campaign fundraising to just more than $1 million.

Margin tax

The Education Initiative, the main group backing a 2 percent tax on gross business revenues on this year's ballot, reported no money raised over the last three weeks. That means the group's fundraising total remains at $1.6 million versus spending of $2.2 million.

The group opposing the margin tax, the Coalition to Defeat the Margin Tax Initiative, has not released updated campaign finance reports. The group has raised $4.7 million total and spent $3.3 million.

Governor

Gov. Brian Sandoval's fundraising machine slowed a bit over the last few weeks, bringing in just $51,000 since Oct. 11. That won't matter come election day, as the Republican governor has already raised $3.8 million since the beginning of 2013 and holds a commanding advantage over little-known Democratic candidate Bob Goodman. Goodman raised $2,500 since Oct. 11, bringing his total campaign fundraising to $9,475.
