A vehicle struck a pedestrian in a wheelchair this afternoon in the southwest valley, Metro Police said.
The victim was transported to Spring Valley Hospital, which indicates the injuries are not life threatening, Metro officer Laura Meltzer said.
Police received reports of an accident on Russell Road near Buffalo Drive at 3:05 p.m.
Officers are on the scene.
