The Pahrump Valley High football team is tough to beat at home.
After losing games the past two weeks in lopsided fashion on the road, the Trojans returned home today and rolled Western, 61-14.
“We get such great crowds at home. They pack the stands,” Pahrump coach Joe Clayton said.
Tom Gascoigne carried the ball 12 times for 118 yards and four touchdowns to lead the offense and help Pahrump improve to 2-0 at home on the season.
Deon Estes rushed twice for 98 yards and a touchdown, and Jeremiah England gained 57 yards on three carries with one touchdown.
Keenan Harris, John Clark and Kelby Lindberg each also scored for Pahrump.
Pahrump is back on the road next week, traveling to Clark for a crucial Division I-A Sunset game. Both teams are 1-1 in league.
