Regarding the Tulsa volunteer officer who shot a man, saying he thought his gun was his Taser:
What police department wants a 73-year-old policeman? Why would a 73-year-old man want to be a cop? I’m around that age, and I don’t think I’d be able to chase someone and catch them. Maybe he could be on the force but carry no weapon.
Evidently, this old man liked the feeling of power. It sure has backfired on him, although he did say he’s sorry. Come on, sir, just retire and enjoy your life, although I don’t know what the future holds for you.
