A shooting Tuesday night in which a man suffered multiple gunshot wounds as he left a central valley housing complex is believed to be gang related, according to Metro Police.
The victim was taken to a hospital in serious condition but was out of surgery and in stable condition this morning, police said.
The man was leaving the complex in the 1100 block of West Monroe Avenue, near Owens Avenue and J Street, about 9:20 p.m. when someone crossing the street opened fire on him, police said.
