A man was battered and a woman was sexually assaulted in a southwest valley home invasion Tuesday night, according to Metro Police.

Officers were called just after 11 p.m. to the 3900 block of Erva Street, near West Flamingo and South Fort Apache roads, where two armed males forced their way into a residence, police said.

A man, woman and girl were in the home during the invasion, and the males attacked the two adult occupants before leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry, police said.

No suspects are in custody, and no further suspect descriptions were available, officer Michael Rodriguez said.
