One man was shot in the foot this evening near downtown, Metro Police said.
Police received a report about 7:30 p.m. of a shooting near Charleston Boulevard and 14th Street, Lt. Patrick Charoen said.
The man was transported to University Medical Center with injuries not believed to be life-threatening, he said.
No suspect is in custody, he said.
