A bicyclist was taken to the hospital Saturday morning after being struck by a car in the western part of the valley.
Police received reports of the incident at 9:16 a.m. and responded to the scene at the intersection of Plaza Centre and Sagemont Drives, Metro Police said.
The extent of the bicyclist's injuries are unknown.
The incident was under investigation.
