An inmate serving time for possession of a stolen vehicle in Clark County has died at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City.
Nevada Department of Corrections officials say 52-year-old Jay Golden died Thursday at the prison's medical facility and an autopsy will be performed to pinpoint his cause of death.
He had been serving a 42- to 108-month sentence since November 2011.
