Officers are investigating a shooting this afternoon in the 8700 block of Maryland Parkway, near Pebble Street, Metro Police said.
The victim was taken to University Medical Center after the incident, which was reported about 2:30 p.m., Metro Officer Laura Meltzer said.
A suspect fled the scene, she said.
