An 18-year-old man was hit by a car and critically injured Tuesday night while crossing Boulder Highway outside of a crosswalk, Metro Police said.
Deangelo Mantilla of Las Vegas was crossing the highway north of Broadbent Boulevard about 9 p.m. when he was hit by a 2014 Dodge Charger that was headed north, police said. Mantilla was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
Neither the driver of the car, a 64-year-old Las Vegas woman, or a passenger, a 68-year-old Las Vegas man, were injured, police said.
The incident remains under investigation, police said.
