Has anyone else noticed that while oil prices have fallen significantly, prices at the pump have not budged?
It was a great relief when a number of gas stations around the Las Vegas Valley dropped the price of regular unleaded below the $2-a-gallon mark recently. After a short time, oil prices began to creep up, causing a parallel increase in gasoline, to the point of reaching the $3 threshold at many gas stations.
Crude oil prices have recently dropped again to the same level when gas was $2, and yet the prices at the pump have not decreased one cent. Does anyone else see something wrong with this picture?
