Barclaycard to add 300 positions at Henderson operation

Barclaycard US announced plans today to hire 300 people as it expands its Henderson operation.

The company, which opened its Henderson call center at the Green Valley Corporate Center in February 2014, celebrated its expanding operations with a ribbon cutting today, according to a news release.

“We have been thrilled by our experience in Southern Nevada and are pleased to continue being a strong business partner in the community,” Chief Operating Officer for Barclaycard US Patrick Wright said in the release.

Barclaycard issues co-branded credit cards in partnership with 35 travel, retail and financial institutions. It also offers cards featuring its own brand and is part of international payment business Barclays Bank PLC.
