A couch fire in a home in the 6100 block of La Palma Parkway did an estimated $70,000 in damage, according to the Clark County Fire Department.
Also according to the department:
Firefighters received a call about the fire at 3:25 p.m. and arrived seven minutes later. The fire was caused by a child playing with a lighter.
Red Cross arrived to help one adult and four children in the home.
