Pedestrian hit by vehicle, critically injured in northeast valley

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and critically injured Sunday night in the northeast valley, according to Metro Police.

Police were dispatched about 7:30 p.m. to the area of South Nellis Boulevard and East Vegas Valley Drive. A female pedestrian, whose age was not provided, was taken to Sunrise hospital in critical condition, police said.

No additional details were available.
