Fire does $60,000 damage to Henderson townhouse

A fire at a townhouse Tuesday night caused $60,000 damage and displaced four adults and a dog, according to the Henderson Fire Department.

Nobody was injured.

The fire was reported about 8:20 p.m. at a two-story home on Solitude Point Avenue, near Horizon Ridge and Paseo Verde parkways. Flames were coming from a bedroom, but firefighters prevented the blaze from spreading, officials said.

The fire was ruled accidental, officials said.
