The man was crossing Las Vegas Boulevard North near East Lake Mead Boulevard when a southbound four-door sedan struck him, according to North Las Vegas Police.

He was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The man’s identity, cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

Alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in the crash, police said. The driver was not injured or arrested.
