A 19-year-old passenger who died Saturday in what Metro Police said was a suspected DUI crash has been identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as Juan Jimenez-Lopez.
The crash happened just before midnight on Colton Avenue, near Lamb Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue, Metro Police said.
Pedro Regalado-Cardenas, 20, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe east on Colton when he hit a parked flatbed semitrailer, severing the passenger side of the SUV, police said.
Jimenez-Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene.
Regalado-Cardenas was treated for minor injuries and booked at the Clark County Detention Center on a count of DUI, police said.
