Tate Martell had three second-half touchdown runs today for the Bishop Gorman football team, helping it turn a close game against host Cedar Hill of Texas into a laugher.

Some thought Gorman would win. None thought it would go on the road to Texas and win 44-14.

Gorman, the two-time defending national champion, trailed 7-0 early and struggled. A couple of quarters later, it had one of the program's all-time signature wins.

The Gaels, after all, beat a top-5-ranked team from the high school football hotbed of Texas.

Biaggio Ali-Walsh rushed for nearly 200 yards, including touchdowns of 77 and 45 yards.
