A motorcyclist killed in a crash with an SUV on Tuesday has been identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as Adam Shields, 25, of Henderson.
Shields was riding east on Lake Mead Parkway about 2:45 p.m. when the SUV, which was headed west, started to turn left onto Industrial Park Road in front of the motorcycle, according to Henderson Police.
The motorcycle hit the right rear of the SUV, police said. Shields was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he later died. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, police said.
